ASSET InterTech has established strategic
relationships with prominent electronics companies in the following
areas:
Agilent Technologies
ASSET InterTech and Agilent Technologies have entered into a contractual
strategic agreement whereby Agilent has integrated ASSET's ScanWorks
JTAG environment with boundary-scan test and programming tools
into the Agilent 3070 in-circuit test (ICT) system. ScanWorks/3070
is now the boundary scan capability on the 3070 systems. Users
of ScanWorks/3070 are able to re-use JTAG tests and programming
operations developed during design debug throughout the product's
entire lifecycle, including volume manufacturing, functional and
environmental test, and in-the-field troubleshooting or repair.
ASSET will continue to work with other suppliers of ICT equipment
to support its existing or potential customers.
CloverTest Associates
CloverTest Associates is a collaborative group of leading test
specialists based in the USA and Europe. CloverTest provides design-for-test
(DFT) seminars and consultancy services for chip, board and system
test to the global electronics manufacturing and test industries.
CloverTest can be found at www.clovertest.com.

PTC,
Inc.
As a result of the strategic relationship between ASSET and PTC,
ASSET's ScanWorks became the first boundary-scan environment with
an industry standard electronic design browser called InterComm
Expert. Under the terms of the contract between the two companies,
ASSET integrated PTC's design browser into ScanWorks, giving designers
and test engineers the ability to correlate boundary-scan test
information and design data like schematics and layouts from within
the ScanWorks environment. InterComm's suite of electronic design
collaboration solutions enables enterprise-wide visualization,
verification, annotation, and automated comparison of the electronic
design intent created by leading EDA authoring tools. For more
information, visit PTC,
Inc.
Teradyne
ASSET has a longstanding strategic contract with Teradyne
Corporation whereby ASSET supports Teradyne's Victory boundary
scan technology.
Xilinx Corporation
Xilinx Corporation, a leader in programmable logic devices and
gate arrays, and ASSET InterTech have struck a strategic relationship
whereby ASSET's EDFT Services Division validates the accuracy
of the boundary scan description language (BSDL) file for all
Xilinx devices.
American
Arium
American Arium, a privately held corporation headquartered in
Tustin, CA, is a supplier of hardware and software development
tools for ARM based processors, Intel®-Architecture processors,
processors based on Intel XScale technology, and AMD64 processors.
American Arium tools are used worldwide to debug software in embedded
applications, BIOS, device drivers, and OS kernels. The company
is a member of the ARM Development Community.
The following companies are part of the Partner Provider program
for ASSET's Ensure DFT Services Division. This program teams EDFT's
expertise in test strategies and implementation techniques with
third parties that have extensive experience in migrating boundary-scan
tests from a company's design group to volume manufacturing.
BreconRidge Manufacturing Solutions Corporation
Headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, BreconRidge Manufacturing Solutions
is a global provider of a full range of electronics manufacturing
services, including design, process and test engineering services,
manufacturing, systems integration, distribution and repair.
BreconRidge's web site is www.breconridge.com.
Solution Sources Programming, Inc.
SSP was founded in 1990 when it began offering ICT services. As
a service organization, SSP specializes in programming and electronic
test. The company is committed to providing reliable programs,
rapid completion of projects and high quality test services. For

COMPLEMENTARY
TECHNOLOGIES
The ScanWorks boundary-scan environment works in conjunction
with several other technologies. ASSET InterTech has effective
working relationships with many of the companies that provide
these technologies. Some of these companies are listed below.
Electronic
Design Automation Vendors
Cadence, the leading
supplier of electronic design automation products has incorporated
boundary scan automatic test pattern generation (ATPG) capabilities
into its systems. Many of Cadence's standards-compliant capabilities
are compatible with the ScanWorks boundary-scan environment.
LogicVision, a supplier
of built-in self-test products. ASSET supports LogicVision's memBIST-XT
and JTAGxII products for at-speed board test.
Lucent Technologies and ASSET are working together
to bring Lucent's boundary scan test technology to the marketplace.
The companies have jointly developed two products, STEM and SystemMerge.
Mentor Graphics supplies electronic hardware
and software design solutions. ASSET ScanWorks provides access
to Mentor's test technologies that have been designed into integrated
circuits.
Synopsis provides electronic design tools for
complex integrated circuits. ASSET ScanWorks provides access to
Synopsis' test technologies that have been designed into integrated
circuits.
Programmable
Device Vendors
Because ScanWorks can be used to load configuration data and
program code into programmable logic devices (PLDs) and flash
memories, ASSET has established close working relationships with
the vendors of these devices. These companies include the following:
- Altera Corporation
- Atmel
- Cypress Semiconductor
- Lattice Semiconductor
- Xilinx
Vendors
of Boundary-Scan Technology
Lattice Semiconductor -- A leader in programmable
logic devices (PLDs), Lattice Semiconductor has pioneered the
use of boundary scan for the on-board programming of PLDs. Because
ScanWorks is compliant with the IEEE 1532 standard for the in-system
configuration (ISC) of PLDs, many of Lattice's ISC capabilities
are compatible with ScanWorks.
National Semiconductor Corporation -- ScanWorks
supports National's SCAN™ Bridge, a hierarchical and multidrop
addressable boundary-scan port, as well as other devices that
are needed to perform IEEE 1149.1 boundary-scan test or on-board
programming.
Texas Instruments, Inc. -- ScanWorks supports
TI's testability support devices, including the Addressable Scan
Port (ASP), Scan Path Linker, 8890 and 8980 test bus controllers
and other 1149.1 devices.
Functional
Test Companies
Agilent Technologies -- ASSET's ScanWorks supports
various test and programming tools from Agilent, including the
company's graphical test programming environment, Agilent VEE.
National Instruments -- ScanWorks supports NI's
LabVIEW, LabWindows and Test Stand.
Teradyne -- Teradyne's automatic test pattern
generation software, VICTORY, Virtual Interconnect Test (VIT),
Access Analyzer and Boundary-Scan Intelligent Diagnostics (BSID)
have been integrated with ScanWorks. This integration allows for
a seamless test flow from prototype debug to Teradyne Z, Spectrum
and L-Series ICT systems and on to environmental test and field
test.
Software
Development Tools
Microsoft -- ScanWorks supports custom boundary-scan
test development using Microsoft's Visual C++ Version 6.0 and
Microsoft Visual Basic.
Borland -- ScanWorks supports custom boundary-scan
test development using Borland C++ Builder Version 3.0 and Borland
C++ Version 5.02.
