Implementing IEEE 1532 Concurrent ISC Operations

In its ispVM® System software, Lattice Semiconductor has implemented support for concurrent in-system configuration for all IEEE 1532-compliant devices. ASSET has incorporated the ispVM software into ScanWorks to take advantage of the extensive development investment made by Lattice. Customers have validated the Lattice ispVM software by using it in actual designs for over two years. By partnering with Lattice, ASSET is able to deliver a fully tested, low risk solution for the concurrent programming of IEEE 1532 devices. The ispVM System software is installed when ScanWorks is installed. It is available for use as a stand-alone application if needed.

Supported Device Families

Note: The Xilinx XC95xxx families are not yet supported by IEEE 1532 Concurrent In-System Configuration. However, these devices can be programmed in ScanWorks through the STAPL or SVF programming methods.
