User survey uncovers best-in-class user satisfaction
Overall, users are very happy with ASSET’s ScanWorks boundary scan system, according to the recently completed User Survey for 2007. Almost 90 percent – 88.3 percent to be exact – of users indicated they were satisfied with ScanWorks. That’s up 10.9 percent from the previous year’s survey when 77.4 percent said they were satisfied.
Even with the vote of confidence from most users, the challenge ASSET faces is to make all customers “very satisfied” and excited about using ScanWorks. At the end of the day, what matters to ASSET is whether users of ScanWorks and DFT Analyzer are excited about the company’s products because they bring significant benefits to them and make their jobs easier.
“We’re very gratified that we’ve been able to make a huge portion of our user base satisfied with our products, services and other aspects of our company,” said Glenn Woppman, president and CEO of ASSET. “But our ultimate goal is to have 100 percent of our customers wholeheartedly enthusiastic about us. I realize that’s a tall order, but we will continue to strive toward that goal.”
Other Survey Results: ScanWorks’ Strengths
In addition to gauging the overall satisfaction of users, the survey asked users to rate certain capabilities of ScanWorks as strengths or weaknesses. Overwhelmingly users responded with above average grades for ScanWorks. For example, close to 70 percent of users said that ScanWorks was very strong or moderately strong finding and isolating faults, and effectively finding faults in testing and programming operations.
Gaining User Inputs
When asked for their opinions, ASSET users responded with a wide range of suggestions and several complimentary comments. A number of users requested more device models in ASSET’s online library. Other random comments included:
“Local support in the UK has been exceptionally good, both applications and sales.”
“Respond to bug reports and problems faster.”
“Continue to streamline Scanworks, increasing automation…”
“Keep up the good work.”
“More enhancements to coverage reporting.”
More to Follow
After more in-depth analysis of the survey results, a follow-up report will be sent to all users. Watch for it in your email inbox soon.
