OBSERVATIONS

We do boundary scan right!
by Glenn Woppman

Since our founding close to a decade ago, ASSET InterTech has remained focused on one thing only: IEEE 1149.1 boundary scan, also known as JTAG. Why are we so narrow minded and myopic? Simply because we know that if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well. So that’s been our goal. To be “The Boundary-Scan Company.” And by becoming just that, we’ve been able to bring you, our customers, a continuous stream of new benefits.

System test with boundary scan
by Dave Bonnett

Most people put boundary scan in the category of a board-level test method, but new hardware and software techniques make system-level test with boundary scan not only feasible, but quite effective. In fact, system-level test with boundary scan saves significant time and effort in troubleshooting and it ensures high quality systems.
