Scope: The 1532 standard describe a series of mandatory and optional boundary-scan instructions and associated data registers that define a
standard methodology for accessing and configuring programmable devices that already support IEEE 1149.1.
The 1532 standard enables concurrent programming and reprogramming of CPLD’s, FPGA’s and PROM’s after they are soldered onto a circuit board. The ScanWorks platform supports 1532.
